Equipment
Home
I must say that the equipment part of this hobby is great fun. The quality of the
telescopes, mounts, cameras, as well as all kinds of software is absolutely
amazing.

Currently my equipment consists of the following: Takahashi FSQ106, NJP mount,
EM-10, AP130EDF, AP155EDF w/4" focuser, Mewlon 250, SBIG 10XME. I recently
received my notification for my new AP900, which I hopefully will receive in early
2006.
I have owned my Takahashi NJP Go-to mount for about 14 months now.  It is
really an incredibly accurate mount.  Just for fun I have run 20 minute exposures.
The results were perfectly round stars! Of course proper polar alignment helps,
but the tracking of the NJP is really excellent. The go to's are right on, even
crossing the meridian.
